Comercializadora y Exportadora Yaxcoffee Café Verde

Comercializadora y Exportadora Yaxcoffee Café Verde is located in the northern region of the state of Chiapas, and was founded in 2011 with the aim of becoming a certified and fairtrade organic coffee trading company. Its commitment has been the implementation of a work plan that seeks access to special markets, financing, and the creation of development projects that improve the living conditions of the families that make up the cooperative.

The approximately 650 members are all indigenous small producers with an average of 2-3 hectares of land. They are located in 5 municipalities in the Selva Yajolón region: Tila, Túmbala, Chilón, Yajolón and Salto de Agua and belong to the Choles and Tzeltales.
